And the bed was very comfortable!! -

Family Vacation while at the Monarch

The property in itself was clean, the staff was friendly, and I loved the location being so close to the beach and things to do in Waikiki. We loved the Waikiki beach and the local places to eat while we were there, and with it being so close to the beach, I would highly recommend it as it was affordable and the location was perfect for us.

GREAT VALUE

The view is great. the microwave and fridge are very useful. Had no issues with the electrical outlets. Waikiki is very walkable from this location (for my friends - we are in our 20s and would comfortably walk up to 1.5 miles)
Cons:
The mattresses are springy (not too bad).
The shower temperature will fluctuate by ~3 degC randomly.
However, this unit is a great value. You're paying to stay in Waikiki! -

In a great location at the western end of Waikiki, with access to a supermarket, Walmart, Target, and other places. The view of the Ala Wai Canal was also very nice. I would recommend this place to anyone, as it was good all around. I am very satisfied with my experience there, and with the Realty company, who are well-organized and efficient. Five stars!
