• Great condo -- GORGEOUS VIEW

  Overall, this is a very nice condo. The view is amazing – Diamond Head and the Ala Wai Canal are straight ahead and there’s a bonus side view of the ocean from the lanai. The condo is as shown in the photos. The bed is comfortable. Kitchen is stocked with the basics (except there was only 1 wine glass). Lanai is a good size and perfect for sipping morning coffee while watching the sunrise. The bathroom is adequate. Location is just a couple of blocks from Waikiki beaches, restaurants and shopping, but just far enough off the beaten path to be a bit more peaceful when you want the break from the high energy. Check-in and check-out at the front desk (staffed 24 hours) was easy and pleasant.
  There are just a couple of *minor* cons if I’m being honest. Communication with the agency was a little hit or miss. They are not as verbose as other managers/owners with information and explanations, but we had no major issues. The primary key code sent to us didn’t work, but the backup one did. There is no coffee maker in the unit despite being listed in the description (and reiterated in correspondence), but several pour-over pouches were supplied. There is no closet. I know it’s a cozy space, so they’ve maximized living space by skipping a closet. Hooks in the bathroom and/or entry would have been nice. The elevators can be a bit slow and getting to/from the parking garage requires 2 elevator rides – once you get the hang of it, it’s ok, but a bit clunky.
  We would stay here again! Mahalo.

  Needed a place to stay after the Island Cruise and opted for this spot. Views from the 43rd floor were fantastic and the studio fit our needs. Check-in was a bit of a process but we made it through. Communication was usually timely and concise. The only issue we had was the small size of the unit and therefore, the small size of the bath rooom and no closet at all. Based on the location and convenience of the adjacent car rental facility we would stay again.

  I was able to spend everyday comfortably in a room with a wonderful view. The room was on top floor so it was very quiet. The location was also was great. If my friends want to come to Hawaii , I would recommend this room. Thank you very much.

  I was able to spend everyday comfortably in a room with a wonderful view. The room was on top floor so it was very quiet. The location was also was great. If my friends want to come to Hawaii , I would recommend this room. Thank you very much.

  First trip to Honolulu Hawaii ever, enjoyed my stay and didn’t expect to stay at the very top of the building! 43rd floor. Very good view. Everyone helpful and friendly. However the Ac was leaking water when on and making balcony wet. Too bad hotels dont have shuttles to and from airport. Restaurant only selled breakfast, having a restaurant there should of sell lunch & dinner too. Thank you!

  My wife and I spent 6 nights, everything about the property was as described, neat, clean, beautiful balcony views, the management were very helpful. It's a straight walk down to the beach with great atmospheric shopping a good food all around. For us the location was great.

  We enjoyed our time here and stayed for nine nights. The view was spectacular and we had everything we needed with amenities! Conveniently there is a store located within the building with everything from alcoholic beverages to Covid tests for your convenience while staying here! The sixth floor recreation deck was amazing as well. I would recommend this vacation rental!

  We had a wonderful time at Island Colony. The condo was clean and comfortable with the most amazing views. It was close to Waikiki (just 5 minutes), and had a nice pool deck. Check-in, check-out and parking was a breeze. My only complaints: there was no ice tray in the freezer, so I couldn't make ice, and the air conditioning unit vents to the balcony (but we just turned it off when we were out there, so not a big problem). But other than that, perfect!

  This condo had a beautiful view of the city and great amenities on the 6th floor with a pool, hot tub and sauna. There were numerous lounge chairs and seating and had a nice resort feel. The location was fantastic within walking distance to all of the great shopping areas and Waikiki beach. The interior was well equipped with a full kitchen. Although the condo itself was beautiful, clean and luxurious, the corridors of the building looked a little run down and unfortunately, the key code to open the front door didn't work when we arrived.

  The price and condition were very good for our stay in Hawaii. The unit was updated enough and clean. We had a great stay, the building also was safe and friendly. Great view from balcony and we were able to cook some. Close to the bus stop and all of Waikiki has to offer. We even tried to stay longer but the unit wasn’t available. Next time we are in Oahu we will definitely check on their vacation rental availability.
