Fujisawa, Japan, March 2, 2026 在 February 2026 居住了 7 天ラナイからの素晴らしい景色が気に入り、こちらの滞在を決めました。展望は素晴らしく、広くオープンする窓を開けると気持ちの良い風が抜けて冷房は不要でした。
近くにTargetができたのて、買い出しも便利で、大きな冷蔵庫とフルキッチンは使い勝手もよく、物価が高くなりつつあるハワイでの食費の節約に助かりました。
ホテル近辺にはプレートランチ屋さんやおにぎり屋さん、コーヒースタンドなどもあり、簡単な食事を購入する事もでき、味も美味でした。次回のハワイでもまた利用させてもらいたいと思います。 -
“A Convenient Waikiki Condo with a Great View and a Comfortable,
Kyotoshi, Japan, January 24, 2026 在 December 2025 居住了 8 天I have visited Hawaii several times and have stayed at a variety of hotels and condominiums around Waikiki. This time, I chose a vacation rental at Pacific Monarch, and overall it was a very comfortable and satisfying stay.
The location is definitely one of its strongest points. Waikiki Beach is within easy walking distance, and there are plenty of ABC Stores, restaurants, and shops nearby. Being able to step out and quickly get whatever you need makes getting around Waikiki stress-free and convenient.
We stayed in a high-floor unit, and the view was beautiful. During the day, you can enjoy the open city scenery, and in the evening, the atmosphere becomes calm and very “Waikiki-like.” Because of the view, we found ourselves spending more time relaxing in the room than we initially expected.
The room itself was clean and well maintained, with a pleasant overall atmosphere. One thing that stood out was the stylish lighting. In the evening, it created a warm and relaxing mood, giving the space a slightly hotel-like feel while still being a condominium. It wasn’t flashy, but it felt thoughtfully designed and comfortable.
Having a kitchen was also very convenient. Being able to prepare a simple breakfast or keep drinks and fruit chilled made the stay more flexible and relaxed, especially compared to eating out for every meal.
The rooftop pool and jacuzzi were nice for unwinding between outings. They weren’t overly luxurious, but they were rarely crowded and easy to use, which made them enjoyable in a quiet, low-key way.
The building itself is not brand new, so those looking for the latest luxury hotel facilities or full service may find it a bit simple. However, considering the location, room comfort, and freedom that comes with a condo stay, the overall value is very good.
All in all, Pacific Monarch is an easy and comfortable choice for enjoying Waikiki without overthinking thing -

What's good: Since it is on the 29th floor, the partial view of the ocean and the view towards the east from the patio was the highlight of the place. The patio really makes the difference, since the unit is very compact. The glass wall that separates the patio consists of glass panels, two of which slide together to the third, to enable indoor/outdoor living. Being a corner, it is very light. The finishes and the cabinets are high end, and there is plenty of storage. The tub/shower has great water pressure. Unfortunately, the hand held wand didn't work. The location is great. 2 blocks from the beach, and it is on a busy street with bus stops, lots of restaurants, shopping, and a grocery store with in 3 blocks.
What's not as good:
The air conditioner! It is very old and very noisy, a problem day and night. The bed is very firm, I liked it, my wife didn't.
All in all, a very nice unit in an older hotel. It does show some wear and tear, typical of vacation rentals. -

Window washers came during our stay which made our view very clear! Building turned off the water during one of our days, but we weren't impacted much by that.

Breakfast every morning on the lanai, with views of Diamond Head and Waikiki were stunning. The condo had just about everything we needed to enjoy our time at the beach. The building is older and the elevators are slow but a small price to pay for what you get in return. The pool area is also quite nice (and in the very top floor - 32 stories up!) The room’s little A/C does a remarkable job keeping the room cool on days where the breeze isn’t cutting it. If you don’t like a firm bed, you may have trouble with the main bed here (I actually liked it) and the mattress in the pull out is a very comfortable tempur-pedic type. And it’s quite big! If we visit Waikiki again, this condo will be at the top of our list.

The location is two blocks from the beach and in the heart of Waikiki. Because it's a corner condo there is a spectacular view of the mountains behind Honolulu, Diamond Head and the ocean along the park next to the Honolulu Zoo. The Lanai is tremendous and we at in for dinner a number of times because the view and location is so great.

The location is two blocks from the beach and in the heart of Waikiki. The Lanai is tremendous and we at in for dinner a number of times because the view and location is so great.
